As I noted in a recent post, Parker Palmer has some rich thoughts for those asking questions about vocation and calling in his book, Let Your Life Speak. Parker Palmer on Calling: That Which You Can't Not Do
I was a freshman in college when I first read Parker Palmer's Let Your Life Speak, which is as good a time as any to think about questions of vocation and calling. First Review of 'Called'
Reviews are starting to come in from those who've had a chance to read an advance copy of my book, Called: My Journey to C. S. Lewis's House and Back Again, and the response has left me speechless.
"Called" Sneak Peek
Several years ago Donald Miller (one of my favorite writers) wrote a book called A Million Miles in a Thousand Years. Just before it was released I received a note inviting me to download a special sneak-peak at the book.
I remember thinking how cool it was to read part of the book before it was out. I also remember thinking that if I ever had my own book published, I'd want to do the same thing.
